Simply Ballroom Dance Teachers Academy offers a unique opportunity in central Virginia for comprehensive vocational teacher training for ballroom dance instructors.
Our program is ideal for adults who are considering a career as dance teachers, or who would like to dramatically improve their own dancing. The 16- month program is made up of four quarters lasting approximately 4 months each.
Classes are held twice a week, two hours each time for a total of 64 clasroom hours each quarter. An additional 11 Lab Hours must be completed each quarter for a total of 75 clock hours each quarter.

- Technical elements of all the dances
- Musical elements of all the dances,
- How to dance and how to teach others to dance as both
- Leader & Follower
- Taining sessions on career, business, and self-development
- Opportunities for applied training through assisting at dance classes, workshops and events
